Well done. Putting a head over the parapet is in itself an act of courage and virtue these days.

In the UK they dropped the jab requirement for hospital staff, but I think many had already retired or resigned. I will not be going through their doors until all masking is dropped too. And i guess a time might come when I take myself off the GP's books, and remove the small payment they get for having me there.

Great article! Thank you for expressing the thoughts of many of us! Kudos to the Herald for publishing it. Interesting that it was published the same day the article on a vaccine injury from the Astra Zeneca.

Maybe these articles will shed some light on those who have such “closed”minds !

Where are Canadians? Why is everyone so passive? They should be reading these substacks and getting on the phone to local politicians. Where has all our fight gone? I'm so sick of all the compliance from so many walks of life. The masking that many still do when shopping.

Those of us capable of critical thought and resistant to the mass hypnosis keep asking these same questions however, we need to remember that most people are not capable of critical thinking. I am not saying this to be mean, but rather stating a fact. During my time in university I was fortunate enough to take a multidisciplinary science course, taught by 4 department heads, that was focused around controversial topics. While talking to these professors I learned that many of the faculty within these departments felt that critical thinking should only be taught in grad school! Having taken 'critical thinking 101' like many others I was horrified to hear this. Critical thinking and analysis is something that parents should begin to teach their children from a very young age. University courses should only be to sharpen this skill set. Most people don't bother to read anymore, rather they can only hold attention for short periods thanks to the whole cell phone/ youtube culture.

I have already taken the time to meet with both my MP and MLA, and well as polite and professional as they were lets just say our political representatives are not comprised of our best and brightest.

The most difficult and concerning realization that I have had in the last 2 years is that there are far fewer intelligent critical thinking people than I thought there were.

Excellent article. So well stated. I for one am one of the casualties of this ridiculous mandate. A full time RN with 35 years experience, not allowed to work because of my personal health choices.🙄. Forced to retire when I had no intention of retiring for several years. But one cannot live on no income and I was denied EI after paying into it for over 35 years. Incidentally, I just received my pension after being out of work for over 6 months.😥

My heart breaks when I hear stories like yours, Vonnie. It must have been terrible for you. The unfairness of it makes me furious. I hope that when the mass psychosis ends (if it ever does) you will consider going back to work--at least part time. The patients need you, even if the NSHA doesn't deserve you.

I appreciate that. And I know that my patients would like to have me back. You see, I worked in maternity for 34 of my 35 years. I’ve helped deliver a great many babies in this town. I’ve also taught many moms the art of breastfeeding as that was one of my passions. And I have the joy and the affirmation of meeting these woman in grocery stores and various places around town and hearing them thank me for being their nurse so many years ago. It’s very humbling. For them and for my coworkers who have no mentors, I would like to return. But I don’t feel I can go back into a system that treated me like I didn’t matter. 😔. And I certainly wouldn’t consider going back if I had to do regular testing and wear a mask.🙄

Excellent piece. I live in Georgia and am quite lucky to not have been locked down like Canadians but all of our healthcare workers are required to get the shot bc Joe said so. Some places allow exemptions. Some don’t. My college student enters a radiography program in the fall with clinical rotations. I believe she will have to have the jab. This is the stupidest thing - get a jab that wanes in months and causes damage to immune system and doesn’t stop virus. Praying that an exemption will be accepted at the least or best case scenario this whole sht show falls apart. We are living amongst evil ones.

Thanks Penny. We were in North Carolina in April and were so relieved to be in a place where (most) people haven't lost their minds with irrational fear. I hope your daughter gets her exemption.

Reading of the clotting disorders appearing everywhere, and as described by Toby Rogers and Jessica Rose here on Substack, there is no career worth compromising one’s life for. These shots are a deadly gamble.

Excellent article, we need more people such as yourself speaking out with logical, critical thinking rather than running on emotions. It still amazes me over 2 years later that many, many people still believe a piece of fabric over one's face will keep them healthy(especially the people who push the mask aside to puff on a ciggie)

Spot on Julie....well done. At least some signs the airlines are finally revolting against these absurd and authoritarian rules. In Canada as elsewhere it isn't a matter of left and right but of free and unfree and shamefully a so called conservative government here in NS is as bad as any liberal one.

As for the third rate socialist health system here in NS, the failure of the College, DNS and Dept of 'Health and Wellness' (Ha!) to get their act together with a proper recruiting and retention policy for key health workers is pitiful. But at least the College, having assaulted free speech and scientific debate, has decided it is a hot bed itself of anti-black racism after wasting our fees on a 'review' and establishing an inclusivity and race baiting committee! At last we can all sleep at night. Meanwhile what is it, 70 or 90 thousand NS residents in a small province who have no family physician?....vaccinated or not!
