Thank you very much I have been following her case. It breaks my heart that younger nurses are having to deal with these kind of shenanigans. I wish her the very best and admire her courage. Bless her heart!

I am not aware of females anywhere worldwide transitioning to male AND demanding access to private “men’s areas”. This observation puts the entire movement under a microscope for me.

Good point.

I think it probably happens (trans males in male spaces) but is less of an issue. There is an asymmetry in the problems of trans. If a woman wants to call herself a man and try out for the male team there is no advantage. I can confidently predict we will never see a female-to-male transitioner win an olympic medal. But we have already seen numerous trans or intersex "females" win at the olympic level.

If a woman wants to call herself a man and enter men's locker rooms, it would be weird, but not a threat. As one young guy said to me "no problem if women want to come into the locker room!". The vast majority of inter-sex violence is male-on-female. By dint of being smaller and weaker, females are on average far less of a threat to me.

A few people (including some I really respect) have said that the trans issue is another example of misogyny and the denigration of women by society. I think that's completely wrong (especially since many of the most vocal supporters of the radical trans agenda are female). It's not AIMED at women. It is a big fat mess for everyone. But for biological reasons women are impacted more.
